On 1 July our colleagues completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge as part of our ongoing fundraising for Northleigh House School. The team have now had time to recover and were looking a bit more fresh-faced when Viv and Lorna from Northleigh School came in to our offices for the cheque handover last week.

The team raised over £2,500 through this latest challenge, and we are delighted to know it’s going to such a good cause.

Northleigh House School was established in 2012, founded by Viv and Fred Morgan to address the growing need for a safe, calm and progressive learning environment for secondary aged children who, mainly as a result of being bullied or perceiving themselves to have been so, cannot study in a large mainstream setting. A bit about the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge

Taking in Yorkshire’s three highest peaks, the 24-mile round trip includes 1,585m of ascent (and descent) and the aim is to complete the challenge in under 12 hours. It’s is all undertaken on foot, with Yorkshire’s Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough providing vantage points from which to survey the route, both completed and yet to conquer!
