eTech was founded in 2005 and recently acquired by CoreLogic International (NYSE), one of the world’s largest property data, analytics and solutions providers.

Based in the UK, eTech is a leading mobile surveying and workflow management software providers for the property services industry, delivering a range of integrated operational business management platforms that efficiently streamline workflow and data exchange, while simultaneously mitigating risk.

We employ over 120 people, delivering both software development and client support functions from our offices in Solihull. We are committed to investment in both people and technology, which are at the heart of our business and continued growth.

Buy To Let Hub launched to the portfolio landlord market and the Training Academy opens to new surveyor clients. eTech are ranked as a top 100 Apprentice Employer for the second year running. ecmk win Training and Certification Company of the Year at the National Energy Efficiency & Healthy Homes Awards 2017. We celebrate 10 years since the lodgement of our first EPC and end the year by winning in two categories at the Mortgage Finance Gazette Awards 2018, the Innovation (Non-Lender) Award and the Best Use of Technology (Non-Lender) Award.

  3. Survey Hub launched to the Lending and Surveying market. We attain Microsoft Partner Gold Application Development Competency. eTech win National Data & Software Company of the Year at the Energy Efficiency & Retrofit Awards 2016 and eTech is recognised as a Top 100 UK apprentice employer. eTech is ranked by the Sunday Times amongst the 100 fastest growing tech companies in the UK, placed in the top 100 apprentice employers by the National Apprenticeship Service and has attained Microsoft Gold Development Competency demonstrating Microsoft expertise. eTech won two categories at the MFG Awards 2018 and has also ranked first and second place at the National Energy Efficiency Awards over the last few years. eTech maintains ISO/IEC 27001 the International Information Security Standard (ISMS).

Since the early days in 2005, eTech has managed to retain its family feel whilst growing from a handful of people to over 140. Our people are at the heart of everything we do and everyone who works here has real energy and passion, striving to deliver the very best solutions for our clients.

Our culture.

Everything we do is in-house, from our innovative development of software to our dedicated Client Support Services. Our industry expertise is key to our operations and enables us to work collaboratively with our clients and respond rapidly to their needs.

Our offices are constantly buzzing with a hive of activity and energy. We have a culture of caring about what we do which translates into a desire to provide the very best solutions for our clients. Our five core values Passionate, Energetic, Collaborative, Innovative and Responsive are embedded in each and every one of us and define the way we work.

We work in an ‘Agile’ environment which allows for flexible working where our solutions evolve through collaboration. Our teams also participate in daily ‘stand-ups’, where you’ll find team groupings dotted around the office, typically in the mornings to set the context for each day. These meetings provide a means of sharing knowledge, working collaboratively and keeping pace.

Jim Driver

Director

Jim co-founded eTech in 2005 and oversees strategic direction, product roadmap and key client relationships. Prior to eTech Jim served for 10 years as a Captain in the British Army.

Outside of work Jim spends a lot of time near water or ponies supporting his busy daughters. He is a keen sailor, road cyclist and wannabe farmer.

David Driver

Director

David co-founded eTech in 2005 and oversees commercial and regulatory operations, whilst ensuring value is delivered to all clients. Prior to eTech, David practiced as a commercial Solicitor with Eversheds in London.

In his spare time, David spends time with his family and enjoys running, winter sports and tinkering with classic cars.

Craig Mellon

Development Director

Craig was a founding member of the eTech team in 2005 and has technical oversight of the eTech development team. Craig is passionate about software development and new technologies.

Outside of work he spends time with his family, enjoys playing football and mountain biking.

Joe Mellon

Operations Director

Joe joined eTech in 2006 and is responsible for eTech’s operations and IT infrastructure. Joe has a wealth of experience in business systems and technology.

Outside of work Joe enjoys spending time with family including 6 grandchildren. He keeps fit running major world marathons and participating in road cycling events.

Stewart McRae

Sales Director

Stewart joined eTech in 2013 to head up the sales and marketing function, bringing a wealth of knowledge in team management, product launches and market development.

During his spare time Stewart is kept busy as a taxi driver for his 3 children. He coaches the under 10s Banbury rugby team, along with training for triathlons and enjoys skiing, cycling and golf.

Rob Cartwright

Energy Solutions Director

Rob joined eTech in 2012 to oversee the Energy Solutions division. Rob has a wealth of experience in IT as well as the environmental and energy sector.

Rob is a resident and director of Hockerton Housing Project and kept busy growing food, rearing livestock and managing sustainable resources. Any additional time is spent with his family and cycling.

Mark Blackwell

Chief Operating Officer

Mark Joined eTech in May 2014 to oversee the Lending and Surveying Services division. Mark has over 20 years’ experience in the lending and surveying industry, including retail banking, property risk, and mortgages.

Outside of work Mark enjoys playing the guitar, cycling, running and collecting vinyl, forever building up his record collection at home.
