SMART EPC is fully integrated with SAVA/NHER, Elmhurst and Quest powered Accreditation Schemes. Depending
on your chosen Scheme, SMART EPC delivers the following functionality:
- Receive EPC instructions direct to the PDA in the field
- collect and record all RdSAP data on site on the PDA
- review a provisional SAP rating from the data recorded
- review and change the recommendations proposed
- lodge the EPC to Landmark from site or from your PC back at base

User Guide:

Each EPC requires a supporting Record of Inspection (RdSAP terminology for site notes).
The Record of Inspection should evidence the basis on which the DEA has
conducted their inspection and reached their conclusions. In addition to being a
requirement of the Certification Schemes, the Record of Inspection needs to be
sufficiently consistent and detailed to enable you to respond to any issues of
professional negligence that may arise from an inspection.
SMART EPC is the only system on the market which automatically generates a consistent
and detailed Record of Inspection. The PDA presents the DEA with additional questions
which help to validate key decisions on key questions such as building construction type.
The PDA's camera also captures site images at prescribed points in the inspection together
with an image of the drawn site plan. The Record of Inspection is automatically generated,
removing the need to upload and annotate photographs and to scan manual inspection sheets
and site plans.

Below is a series of PDA screenshots demonstrating some of the validation questions used
to generate the Record of Inspection.
An example of the Record of Inspection which is generated automatically through the PDA is
provided below. Each Record of Inspection is stored electronically by eTech and can be accessed
by a DEA via our online storage facility.
