eTech offers SMART Sketch & Send as an alternative floorplan generation method to SMART
Floor Plan, for those who prefer to draw plans manually.
How it works:
- Sketch and draw your plan on paper, using a set of symbols to indicate room features
- Mark up room names, measurements, fixtures and fittings etc on your sketch
- Scan or upload your sketch plan to eTech's online SMART Portal or use
the Sketch and Send account on your PDA. This enables you to photograph the plan with the
camera on your PDA and send the plan to eTech from the field
- Once submitted, your sketch is drawn up into a fully rendered CAD plan and returned
to you via the eTech SMART Portal
- The revised plan is sent back to SMART Portal, enabling you to provide an image
or a link to the plan to your clients
Plans and revisions that are submitted before midday will be returned before midnight the same day.
Style, colouration and formats can be tailored on a client by client basis.
