SMART Electrical enables Electrical Engineers to produce certificates for the following electrical surveys:

Periodic Electrical Inspection, Electrical Installation, Minor Works, Fire Alarm Detection and Alarm System, Maintenance Works Order, and Emergency Lighting Inspection. The electrician attending site inputs the data directly into the PDA. On leaving site the electrician sends the data via the PDA’s GPRS connection to eTech’s server. The required certificates are produced as PDF documents and are available immediately to be downloaded or printed.

In addition, the data captured on site is stored in an SQL database. This ensures that all the data collected can be generated into Excel, to enable organisations managing large numbers of electrical installations to run effective management reporting. Certificates can be mailed to the homeowner by the service provider or alternatively eTech offers this as a service for £0:75 per certificate to include printing, mailing and postage.
